Trazo Ventures LLC ("Trazo Ventures," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Trazo Travel mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our App. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please discontinue use of the App.
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the App and any related communications or services. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or applications, even if linked to or from our App.

If you choose to sign in using a third-party authentication provider (such as Google or Apple), we may receive certain profile information from that provider as permitted by your account settings and their privacy policies. We do not control what those providers share with us.
"Aggregate information" means information that relates to a group or category of individuals from which individual identities have been removed, and that is not linked or reasonably linkable to any individual, consumer, or household — for example, statistics such as "a majority of our users who travel in summer plan trips to Europe."
"De-identified information" means information that cannot reasonably be used to infer information about, or otherwise be linked to, a particular individual, and that we maintain and use only in accordance with the safeguards described in Section 3.6.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your personal data to serve you third-party advertising within the App. We may, however, create, use, share, and sell aggregate information and de-identified information that does not identify you, as described in Section 3.6.
Trazo Travel is a collaborative platform. Information you add to a shared trip — including itinerary details, expenses, messages, and photos — will be visible to other members of that trip group. Please be thoughtful about what you share within a group.
We may share your information with trusted third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, including:

Subscription billing is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). These platforms have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your payment and account data, which are independent of ours.

If Trazo Ventures is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or similar corporate transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent in-app notice before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
We may create aggregate information and de-identified information from the data we collect, including from your trip content, expense data, usage data, and profile information. We may use, share, license, and sell this information for any lawful business purpose — including analytics, research, marketing, advertising, product development, and commercial arrangements with third parties such as travel partners, advertisers, and data analytics providers.
Because aggregate information and de-identified information do not identify you and are not reasonably linkable to you, they are not treated as personal information under this Privacy Policy or under applicable data protection laws. Our commitment not to sell your personal information (described in Section 2) does not apply to aggregate information or de-identified information.
When we use or disclose de-identified information, we will: (a) take reasonable measures to ensure the information cannot be associated with you; (b) publicly commit to maintaining and using the information only in de-identified form and not to attempt to re-identify it, except as permitted by law to test our de-identification methods; and (c) contractually obligate any recipient of the information to comply with these same restrictions, including a prohibition on attempting to re-identify the information.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. We also retain data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required by law to retain it. Note that content you shared with other group members (such as itinerary items or chat messages) may remain visible to those members until they also delete their trip data.
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You may review and update your account information at any time through the App's settings. You may also request deletion of your account by contacting us at privacy@trazotravel.com.
You can enable or disable location access for the App at any time through your device's settings. Disabling location may limit certain map-based features.
You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in any marketing email we send, or by contacting us directly. You cannot opt out of transactional messages (such as subscription receipts or critical service notices) as long as your account is active.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell; the right to request deletion of your personal information; the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information (note: we do not sell personal information); and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As described in Sections 2 and 3.6, we may sell or share aggregate information and de-identified information; because that information is not personal information, it is not subject to the opt-out rights described above.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or applicable local law, including the right to access, correct, restrict, or delete your personal data; the right to data portability; and the right to object to certain processing. Our legal bases for processing your data include performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App, and your consent where applicable. Trazo Travel is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 where applicable under local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under the applicable age has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through or in connection with the App.
Trazo Ventures is based in the United States. If you access the App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other applicable jurisdictions.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, by sending you an email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
